Adults: Individual Counseling/Therapy

*Addiction counseling for alcohol, marijuana, prescription or other drug abuse, which includes an assessment of treatment needs and direction toward the most helpful local options 
*Addressing food issues, including under- or over-eating, eating disorders or painful body image
*Traditional talk-therapy to identify long-standing patterns and to develop new understandings and experiences of trust in relationship

Adolescents: Individual Counseling/Therapy

-Talk about what's hardest with school, siblings, parents, and friends
-Find ways to deal when things get tough
-Explore different options for having fun and taking care of yourself that get your parents "off your back" 
-Learn more about what's normal and expected for other young people, regarding sex, drugs, emotions, relationships, and body image

Group Therapy

-Learn how to push your edges in relationship
-Receive real-time feedback about your communication style
-Learn how to give honest and skillful feedback to others
-Explore patterns of relating with different types of people, and try out more adaptive styles
-Practice setting and respecting healthy boundaries
-Explore life topics including: anxiety, social fears, sexuality, relationship struggles, family-of-origin issues, communication styles

Couples Counseling

-Break the blame pattern
-Learn how to communicate more effectively
-Identify how to better support your partner without enabling or excusing objectionable behavior
-Learn skills that will help lessen arguments
-Clarify your level of commitment to the relationship, and needs to make it flourish again

I am currently offering 50-minute, $75 psychotherapy consultations to prospective clients in the Boulder, Colorado area.

Cost
Group session: $50
50-minute individual session: $120*
50-minute clinical supervision or consultation session: $120*
75-minute individual or couples session: $150*

*A limited amount of reduced fee sessions are available for those in need. Please inquire at our consult meeting. 

I accept credit cards, check or cash. Credit card payments require a $3 or 3% fee, whichever is highest. Payment may be made before a session by using the Paypal button below.

Cancellation Policy

The full fee will be charged for less than 48 hours notice for canceling or rescheduling. Exceptions are made for rare emergencies or illness.
